This week has been a little nuts weather wise. On Monday we got about
5 inches of snow and then that night it turned to ice and Tuesday
during the day we got another two inches of ice on top of all the snow.
Then once the ice stopped we got another 3-5 inches on top of that ice.
And then last night we got another inch of snow. The whole city has
practically shut down. I haven't had classes all week and Max's
preschools have been closed. Everyone we know is without power. Ours
thankfully stayed on. It did go out for a bit on the first night, but
not long. The news is saying that it could be well into February before
they are able to restore power to everyone. I'm so thankful ours didn't
go out. We are expecting more snow on Monday. I don't mind snow, but I
really don't like all the ice. It's SO dangerous!
There are trees down everywhere and powerlines are covering a lot of roads. You really have to be careful where you drive.
I
do have a few pictures I took of the ice before the rest of the snow
piled on. I will share some other pictures later. I took Max out the
first day, so I have some pictures of that to share later.
